I was fortunate enough to be supervised by David Newton – Senior Therapy Practitioner at the Clifton Practice in Bristol.

From 2005, David taught me how to get the very best from therapy practitioners and learned how to assist them with confidence/coaching to empower them to flourish and evolve.  I have over 20 full-time years direct clinical experience with clients and conducted thousands of hours in the consulting room.

I have over 16 years direct experience of supervising other therapists 1:1 or in group, as well as other supervisors and senior supervisors. Many Nurses, GP’s, NHS therapy practitioners choose to book in to see me as their preferred supervisor because of the specific and rather eclectic way I supervise, needless to say it is not dull or boring but erudite, fun, informative, driven heavily by neuroscience, metaphor and sometimes inspiring…a similar style of how David Newton so effortlessly delivered.

I offer 1:1 Supervision face to face or via Zoom online booked at a prearranged time and payment in advance only. I now only supervise senior practitioners as well as supervisors and other senior supervisors.

Prepayment Supervision Fees for students and therapists  1:1 Face to Face or Zoom are: 

1:1, Telephone or Zoom sessions are available.
Telephone or Zoom sessions may be broken down into smaller sessions.  Once the cumulative total is 1 hour it is considered a full session and this will have used up your prepayment for that hour. 

• Supervision Fee: £200 per 60-minute session-Reserved for experienced practitioners, including senior therapists, clinical supervisors, Harley Street Senior clinicians or supervisors and fellows seeking high-level professional consultation and supervision. Supervision can be made available in 15 minute increments.

I previously provided group supervision but this is not something that I currently offer. Group supervision was retracted in 2015 for various reasons and it will not be reinstated. What I do offer is 1:1 supervision and you may enquire regarding this, although please do not assume that acceptance is automatic…it is not…as there will need to be an aspect of rapport and therefore I will make a judgement to decide whether or not I wish to work with you or not.

Please note that I avoid “coffee meet” requests from graduates and therapists who want information for free as this simply isn’t good business practice. Supervision and the knowledge associated around it is a business service; this includes emails, messaging etc where the prepayment fee is required before any information is given. Be aware that I do not appreciate a circumnavigation of fee payment for knowledge that I’ve worked very hard for.

Please be aware that I do not offer 1:1 therapy to hypnotherapist’s, psychotherapists, other therapist practitioners or counsellors.

My scope of involvement for therapists is purely supervision-based and any requests other than supervision will be respectfully declined. Booking a supervision session will not become a therapy session as I will maintain strict boundaries. 

No information will be given until prepayment is received and cleared in the nominated business account. To reiterate, supervision is a business service that is part of the wider business.
